There is an explosion of information about folk music on the net and this site will try to cover the depth and breadth of it. It primarily provides an organized set of pointers to other pages but does include some original material.
This website has been up for about 10 years (ancient in web terms). The site has evolved over the years but its organization is much the same.
There is some information about venues and booking. I don’t know how current the information is.
