How Productive Has Your Week Been?

Are you accomplishing all you want to? Many people make the mistake of thinking that Time Management is about cramming more stuff into your already full to overwhelming life.

And so you resist creating your time management systems. Because you already feel so burned out and overwhelmed you just want to cry thinking about doing more. Does this sound like you?

Or perhaps you think, “I’ve tried a million things and nothing works for me – I’m hopeless!” Or, “Those time management systems aren’t for me, I’m too artistic.” Or, “If I really get myself systematized I’ll loose all my creativity and spontaneity.”

These are misconceptions that many of my private clients had when they started working with me on time management issues. Here’s the truth:

  • It’s not about doing more stuff. It’s about doing the right stuff at the right time in the right proportions! Including resting, playing and just kicking back!
  • You’re not hopeless, in fact you’re probably already doing stuff that works for you. It’s not about imposing somebody else’s idea of good time management. It’s about finding what works for you and building a system around that!
  • Just like a tall building needs a solid foundation to reach for the heights, you need structure that will allow you to soar. You will find your creativity and spontaneity being freed up by your systems.

If your answer to my first question – “Are you accomplishing all you want to?” wasn’t a resounding YES! Here’s my next question – What are you waiting for?

What you’re doing has gotten you this far – in order to get to the next level, you have to be willing to do something different.
