Organization & Time Management

Time management is the number one block business owners must conquer before creating success.  90% of my private clients tackle Time Management and/or Organization goals in the first few months of our work together.

In my experience the real obstacle is a lack of skill.  It’s not that you don’t have enough time.  And its not even that you’re lazy or sloppy or can’t focus or even that you procrastinate.

Those are all just symptoms of either a lack of skill or a lack of structure (or both) in the areas of Time Management and Organization

In Learning Track 3A, you learned about the importance of creating systems so that your business runs smoothly, consistently and with ease.

The first system you MUST build is Time Management.

Time is the scarcest resource and unless it is managed nothing else can be managed.
Peter Drucker

The second is Organization.

Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.
A. A. Milne

Without these two systems nothing else will work.

According to a study conducted by a Boston Marketing firm, the average American burns 55 minutes a day looking for things they know they own but cannot find. That adds up to a total of almost 14 days a year people spend just trying to find lost things.
